Kroger v. Martins, Week of 12/12/2010

Not much to inspire this week, but I will head to Kroger to pick up some more chicken.  The $1.79 chicken from Martins from a couple of weeks ago had a lot of hidden "stuff you'll want to cut off" on the underside of the breasts, so it wasn't that great of a deal after all.

Chicken:

Kroger
Boneless/Skinless Breasts @ 1.99/lb
Whole Roaster @1.19/lb

Martins
Boneless/Skinless Breasts @ 2.44/lb

Beef:

Martins
Value pack @2.49/lb (probably 75-80% lean)

If I run across anything good when I am in the stores I will update the post.
